The Food and Drug Administration has advised restaurants and retailers to sell or serve the special shells from the Republic of Korea because of their potential contamination with Noro virus.
Calling a special shell was issued on Thursday before the holiday.
Warning to the FDA website, food restaurants and retailers in Arizona, California, Colorado, Georgia, Idaho, Kansas, Nevada, Texas, Utah and Washington alerts to sell or serve some frozen, raw and semi -shell mussels.
They must safely repel potentially contaminated clams or contact their distributor to arrange for demolition.
Solo consumers in those countries that have also purchased this mussel are advised to do the same.
This announcement warns consumers that foods containing neurvirus may “appear, natural taste and taste”. However, according to the FDA, taking these potentially dangerous products “can cause severe disease and potential disease in people with the immune system.”
Noro virus is a highly contagious gastric forms with common symptoms such as diarrhea, vomiting, nausea and stomach pain.
People who experience the symptoms should contact their health care provider and report their symptoms to their local health sector.
According to the FDA, symptoms usually occur within 12 to 48 hours after exposure to neurvirus, and most people with neurvirus disease get better over a day or three days.
This consultation goes on to cite several steps to prevent mutual contamination.
This last shell call comes due to the possible risk of neurvirus infection months after the FDA issued a similar call four times a month in February.
