A four -year -old boy died in a cemetery in Lancashir after the fall of a tombstone.
Emergency services were called to the Rawtenstall Cemetery at around 1pm on Saturday and reported that a tombstone had fallen on the child.
Despite trying to save him, the son died. Lencashire police said his death is not suspicious and would transfer the case to Coroner HM.
“We were summoned to the Rawtenstall Cemetery today (July 5th),” a spokesman for Lankshire said.
“Sadly, and despite the best emergency service efforts, the boy unfortunately died. Our thoughts with his loved ones are devastating at this time.
“His death is not behaved as suspicious and a case will be transferred to HM Coroner in due time.”
Located on the Burnley Road, the cemetery has more than 21,000 hectares for Catholic buries, the British Church, non -compatible burials and Muslims, and now has about 17 hectares.
There is a prayer room that can be about 40 people can be hired at a low cost.
