The flames are closing in Türkiye’s fourth largest city because the fire that killed at least 14 people continues to destroy the country.
More than 1,500 people have fled their homes, and a firefighter died while overnight in the forest mountains around Bursa, northwestern Turkey, died.
The flames of 3,000 hectares of fire are disrupted and more than 1,100 firefighters fight the flames around Bursa, as the highway that links the city to the capital, Ankara, was closed as soon as the forests were burnt.
Mustafa Bozabi, the mayor of the city, died of an attack while working. The governor’s office said Sunday that 1,765 people were safely evacuated from villages to northeast.
Orhan Sarbil, an opposition representative for the province, described the scene as “apocalypse”.
Until morning, the reduction of heavy winds to the firefighters, who continued their efforts to fight the flames, has relaxed. However, television films show a fruitless view that the fields and pine forests have already stood.

About 14 people have died in recent weeks, including 10 rescue volunteers and forestry workers who were killed in a fire in Schizir in western Turkey on Wednesday.
High temperature, dry conditions and severe winds have led to the flames that lead to dozens of severe fires in late June. The government announced the disaster areas on Friday on two western provinces, Izmir and Biklik.
Turkey’s Minister of Agriculture and Forestry, Ibrahim Yumakoli, said the fire crew across the country faced 76 separate currents, 28 of which were in forests and 48 in rural areas, and the northwest of the country was under the biggest threat, including Carbuk, where the fire was burned on Tuesday.
Mr Jumakoli said Türkiye broke the full -temperature record on Friday 50.5 degrees Celsius in sirnak southeast. Information published by the Meteorological Office of the country indicates that the temperature rises by 10 degrees on Saturday. The highest temperature for July was observed in 132 other locations.

The Minister of Justice Yilmaz Tonk announced late Saturday that prosecutors have been investigating June 26 in 33 provinces in 33 provinces, and the legal action has been carried out against 97 suspects.
The minister of Yumakoli shared a message to the citizens and told them that the best way to extinguish the fire was to prevent them in the first place.
“We, as the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, are fighting with forest fires with aircraft, helicopters and drones in the sky, our forest champions 24/7 on land, our ground vehicles, Afd, provincial governorate office, local governments and non -government agencies.
“We are ready, but the best way to extinguish the fires-it is without any problems and without paying any costs-to prevent them from starting.”
