I lived in New York for seven years – this is the best hotel in the city

Like many people who have already lived in New York, I have a bit of a complex relationship with the city. My heart will never be beaten because Manhattan’s first view is seen through the taxi window. But returning as a tourist, a minor pain for the past NYC, the city I read home once – when Bushik was still sticky, when bad meals were feeling impossible, and when the meat packaging was not flooded with the technical brothers. On the last night of the last night’s trip to New York, I felt tired and endured. The Greenwich Hotel changed this. At this hotel, New York I found my rose memories. Certainly, it is not very cheap. But if you want to season a NYC hotel, do it here.

Location

Despite the name, this hotel is not actually in Greenwich but in Tribeca. This street is located on Greenwich Street, which takes a good length from Manhattan from the packaged meat to the battery park. This smart part of the city includes many luxurious restaurants and cafes as well as art shops and galleries. It is also located only with a short walk from the west village and a short subway ride from the main tourist attractions. The hotel is easily accessible by taxi or public transport from all three New York airports. As the downtown locations go, you can’t do much better

Distressed

The luxury is the quiet monarchy. The Greenwich Hotel is the best of the best and you don’t need to scream about it. You will be surprised to know that the hotel is partially owned by Robert DeNiro. There is an old school in New York. We are talking about soft, worn -out leather chairs, wooden floor, heavy doors, benches in which you drown and thick carpets in rich ingredients. There is a cozy painting room that is woven in a soft mood light and a yard with a green space that weaves its way to the walls. The hassle is delicate.

Serving

As much as I experienced it is close to flawless. The service is soft and sharp, while also feeling friendly and real – guests at the door of the restaurant staff who smiled, tied up and offered a “problem” to request a vegetarian containers. Really, nothing is very difficult.

Bed and bath

73 rooms and 11 suites (along with a penci -mouse) are beautiful, classy and comfortable with surprise. Everyone is decorated separately with unique features and the floor windows look to the ceiling on the courtyard or street of Manhattan. Shine and spacious tile baths have a shower and independent or marble bathtubs. The mini -bar is full of what is rumored to be Robert DeNiro’s favorite snacks (a fun combination). I felt that Kevin McAlister was being released in Manhattan, as I hit on Tate cookies, Swedish fish and spots. And if it happens to work low, it is re -filling.

Food and drink

Locanda Verde is a restaurant and adjacent to the Greenwich Hotel and offers Italian cuisine-such as duck sausage sausage, lamb papardel Bologna and “my grandmother’s Ravioli”-in a lightweight and pleasant atmosphere. It is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as providing 24 -hour room services for hotel guests.

You may prefer to have lunch in the painting room, full of seasoned sofas in gorgeous fabrics. This menu is small, but everything is beautifully made, and there is a great list of wine and cocktails.

Facilities

Shibui Hotel Greenwich Underground Spa is one of the best in the city, with a Shiatsu room, a traditional bathroom with a large bathtub for Japanese bath rituals, a damp room containing shower for packaging and scrubs and a medical room for massage and face. The gorgeous swimming pool is incredibly inside a 250 -year -old bamboo wood and farm that is rebuilt inside the hotel and is lit by lanterns to create an extraordinarily relaxing atmosphere. There is also a well -equipped gym that is very suitable for a Manhattan hotel with heart and weight.

Domestic animal policy

Dogs are an important part of the culture at the Greenwich Hotel. Without any extra cost, dogs of all sizes with dog beds plus their size, home -made biscuits from chef Locanda Verde, bowls, bottle water and a new NYC toy are welcomed. Dogs welcome all public areas (except the spa), including lobby, yard and painting room.
