“XU is a prolific sex offender, which has preyed on suspected women using cowardly methods – prescribing drugs for rape, rape and intimate images,” said Lewis Sanderson, a leader of the investigation.
“Our research is underway and we continue to investigate the many evidence we have collected, which helps identify any potential victim,” he said.
“We also want anyone who has information about XU or believe that it may have been a victim. They listen to you. I want to assure anyone you are not alone and you can be looking for specialized support and guidance, not only through the police, but from charities and independent services.”
Susan Kean, a Crown Prosecutor’s service, said evidence against him includes “annoying” images and videos, hidden cameras and medicines commonly used in spikes in his home.
“The Chao XU deliberately makes women drugs to make them unconscious and vulnerable and enable them to rape and rape without their knowledge,” she added.
“Zoo is a serious danger for women, and the scale of her insult is such that it may not have been well discovered without the brave testimony of the victims, which happened after understanding what happened to them.”
He was in custody to be sentenced to the Crown Volvic court on October 14.
