The Swifts’ target is an Art Nouveau painting by Friedrich Hiser depicting Ophelia, Hamlet’s lover in William Shakespeare’s play of the same name.
In the original play, Ophelia, a young Danish noblewoman, eventually goes mad and drowns.

Museum director Andreas Henning told dpa that the scene bears similarities to Heiser’s work.
هنینگ گفت: «از اینکه تیلور سویفت از این نقاشی موزه به عنوان الهامبخش برای ویدیوی خود استفاده کرد، متعجب و خوشحالیم. “Of course, it’s a great opportunity to attract people to the museum who don’t know us yet.”
Hessische Land Museum:
Henning said the museum has already tried to contact the singer, but has so far been unsuccessful in getting hold of the global star.
“I would love to show Taylor Swift the original painting someday,” he added.
Last week, Swift said a six-part documentary of her tour will air on Disney Plus this winter.
Alongside the documentary The End Of An Era, more than a week after the release of her twelfth studio album, The Life Of A Showgirl, she announced an updated Eras Tour concert film, The Final Show.
