An anonymous Epstein survivor spoke publicly for the first time last night, claiming that Donald Trump “must know about the victims.”
The anonymous survivor has broken her silence for nearly two decades, not even talking to friends or family about the abuse she suffered at the age of 16.
He spoke exclusively to UK-based Channel 5 News. on a program which was aired on Wednesday evening with Marina Lacerda’s interview – A key witness in the prosecution of Jeffrey Epstein.
The news comes after Windsor’s Andrew Mountbatten, formerly known as Prince Andrew, was summoned by today’s deadline and pressure mounted for him to respond.
“He must have known something,” the survivor accused Trump. He must have had an idea.
“You know, he always bragged about their friendship, but I never knew how close or involved they were.”
“He had pictures of them together in his house” that he said he saw.
“They were friends… I don’t know how he couldn’t [not known]”
Trump has vehemently denied identifying Epstein’s victims and has previously dismissed survivors’ stories as a “democratic hoax.”
The anonymous survivor has since responded to Trump’s firing: “I’m not delusional. I wish it was, but it’s not. And it happened. It definitely happened. As much as I want to pretend it didn’t happen, it happened and I’ll have to live with it for the rest of my life.”
She explains that she struggled to tell even her friends and family the true extent of what had happened to her: “The only person I’ve told is my boyfriend and it took 13 years. I felt like I was living two different lives and pretending it never happened and then having normal conversations. Meanwhile, you’re dying inside.”
Because her accountability lies in the Epstein cases, she says, “I don’t know what justice looks like for me because the only person who, you know, hurt me and died. You know, I want, you know, people who are accountable for the other girls. Their people are still out there, and I feel like they need justice.”
Survivor, Lacerda He was only 14 years old when he met Epstein. Until two months ago, his identity was hidden and he was known only as “minor victim one”. Since then, he has been instrumental in exposing Epstein’s crimes.
She is now calling on Andrew Mountbatten of Windsor, the former Prince Andrew, and close family members to give evidence about the crimes, which she has always denied.
Lacerda He said: “I hope he has the balls to face up to what he’s done and answer the questions. Why shouldn’t he?
“If I myself am accused of this cruelty, I want to go and at least clear my name. Clear your name. And if you did anything wrong, deal with it.
“You have families. You have daughters. You have daughters who have daughters. Fine. If you know this is something you’ve done in the past and you regret it, just tell the world. What’s the worst that can happen now?”
Lacerda added that he believed the prince’s ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson, and Andrew’s daughters should be subpoenaed to testify.
“It’s the right thing for them to be subpoenaed. He said he was having pizza with his daughters, that’s right, if I’m not mistaken. So, it’s good to have some clarity there and I hope his daughters talk. They’re honest about it,” he said.
We need to stop protecting people because they are our family. We need to protect people who are harmed by your family.
Lacerda explained the unbalanced power dynamic that Epstein had over her and her victims. “As a young girl coming from a third world country, you just want to make it in the United States of America, and I thought that’s what he could do for me,” she said.
He said that he owns the government, he owns the banks, he owns everyone. He knew I needed money and he knew I had to be legal in the country. And I think he always warned me too, like, well, you know, you’re an immigrant. Just don’t mess with me somehow because I know you’re an immigrant and I’m very powerful.
That year, I think after seeing him for four or five months, he raped me, and then I was incarcerated. It was almost like a mafia.”
Lacerda He was also particularly vulnerable because he had a history of trauma after being abused by a family member since the age of 8.
“I said, ‘It’s not that bad. This guy just wants to wear my shirt. He had pictures on his clothes. He had Bill Clinton, he had Prince Andrew. I was like, wow, this guy is somebody.’
