Aaron Ramsil goalkeeper joins Newcastle with seasonal loan


Newcastle has completed the signature of Southampton’s goalkeeper Aaron Ramsil with a seasonal loan with an option to buy.

The 27 -year -old moved £ 18million to St. Mary last August from Arsenal and performed well in a shameful campaign for abandoned sacred.

Ramsdale has guaranteed the return of the Premier League by joining Newcastle for the 2025-26 season, while Southampton receives a considerable cost and fully covers his wage as part of the loan.

The PA news agency understands the Magsi, who lost to Manchester City at the Burnley goalkeeper, James Traford, as well as part of the agreement.

“Being here is great,” Ramdddal said. “I always liked to come here and see how passionate and high fans were.

“I always liked to play in St. James’s Park – I haven’t always got the most out of the way, but when fans get behind you, it’s somewhere.”

Ramsdale has played 183 Premier League games since its first top flight game in 2019 under the name of Eddie Haw’s Magpies coach in Bournemouth.

“Working with his manager and coaching staff was again a big draw for me,” British international said.

“They already had a huge impact on my profession, and Gafer turned me from a man into a professional footballer in Bournemouth,” he said.

“He really showed me the ropes, so his manager and coaching staff were a big point for me to come here.”

“Aaron is an exceptional goalkeeper that adds more international quality and experience to our team,” Newcastle Hove added.

“I have already worked with him, know what he can bring us on the ground and outside the ground, so we look forward to welcoming him in the group.”
