A Australian radio station faces without disclosure after using a host manufactured by AI for the past six months.
The CADA Station of Australian Radio Network, aired on Sydney and on the iheartradio program, created its own hosts using artificial information software built by Elevenlab Audio Clock.
In Working days with you The show provided music for four hours from Monday to Friday, but it is not mentioned on your website or advertising content that you are not a real person.
On the page of the show reads: “If your day looks a little, let you and cada be energy and passionate to remove your mood.”
Your true identity only appeared after the author based in Sydney Stephanie Cambus as if you were a real person.
In the blog post earlier this month, Ms. Coombes wrote: “What is your surname? Who is she? Where did she come from?
Audio analysis of the audio clips showed that the host seemed the same when saying the words “Old School” in different shows.
The Arne project leader, Fid, then confirmed the use of artificial intelligence to create your voice, and wrote in a deleted LinkedIn post that “you look real” and have real fans, despite being a real person.
“No microphone, without a studio, just code and vibration,” he wrote. “ARN and Elevenlabs test that makes the” live radio “boundaries even mean.”

Currently, according to Australian communications and media, there is no law on the use of artificial intelligence in broadcasting content, but the Australian radio network has been criticized for failing to use artificial intelligence in one of its regular plays.
“They should have been preceded and quite honest and revealed that radio hosts an artificial intelligence,” Teresa Lim, deputy chairman of the Australian Audio Actors Association, told Mediaweek.
“People are fooled to think that’s a real person because there’s no AI label.”
Arn said in a statement that “checking how new technology can support excellent content” and improve its efficiency.
“We have used AI audio tools about Cada using your voice, a member of the ARN team,” the statement said.
“This is an atmosphere that is explored by broadcasters worldwide, and while providing a valuable insight, it also reinforces the unique value that the characters bring to the really convincing content.”
