British Airways as part of “trying to reduce plastic waste” is removing water bottles from beverage service in flight.
Economic travelers on long distance flights that are given Hitro London with the three US-Miami, Boston and Los Angeles cities as part of the new stability trial.
Paper cups made by the cabin crew have temporarily replaced plastic plastic bottles on these selected routes for travelers in the BA economy and top economic cabins.
In a Flyrtalk forum, a passenger flying from Miami to Hitro said: “There was no bottle of water that they could give me because the BA is not being tested not to provide two weeks of water bottles.”
They added that reducing individual water is “obviously a cost -saving exercise covered by polar bears”.
The airline has confirmed that a one -week test with a single -functional plastic on which it is running between June 16 and 22.
Club World and first -grade passengers are currently not affected by a ban on plastic bottle testing.
British Airways spokesman said Independent: “This is a one -week test in three paths as part of an attempt to reduce plastic waste. Customer’s view is very important to us and we will listen carefully to their feedback.”
In October 2024, a bachelor’s degree was accused of trying to reduce costs by flights repeatedly after the introduction of a new service on long distances.

The menu items for the initial meal about the seats now include ferritate cheese, Belgian wuffs and flavored eggs in sour, not a complete meal.
Several repeated licenses said they consider changes to be “cheap” and “major reduction” of the service.
BA said the new Branc service has been implemented in accordance with the customer’s positive feedback on classic dishes and lighter lunch options.
