LIB DEMS calls for parliament for the next US ambassador

Liberal Democrats called for Parliament to be involved in the review of the next US ambassador after the expulsion of Peter Mandelson on his links with Epashtin.

The party has said that this should include a meeting with the Foreign Affairs Committee to properly examine the next proposed ambassador.

“The appointment of the prime minister from Mandelson was a obvious error of judgment, a mistake we could not do,” said a spokesman for Liberal Democrat, Calum Miller.

“With Trump at the White House, we need an ambassador to stand up to the president and show British values.

“To prevent more national shame for our country at the international stage, the Foreign Affairs Committee must now play a role in the review of Mandelson’s successor before the appointment.”
