ChatGpt Maker OpenAI claims to be violated data seriously

OpenAI is investigating reports of possible violations of millions of accounts, but says there has been no evidence of claims yet.

The alleged violation, which airs on a hacking community Friday, shows that a threat to the system has endangered the details of the 20 million Openai accounts, including email addresses and passwords.

The person behind this claim provided an obvious example of stolen data and is trying to sell the complete data set.

While the accuracy of these claims has not been confirmed, Openai stated that it takes the reports “seriously” and was seriously investigating the situation.

The claims of claims have not been confirmed, but in an Openai statement he said the reports are searching.

“We take these claims seriously,” said Openai’s spokesman.

“We have not seen any evidence to connect to the component of OpenAI systems.”

The ChatGpt artificial intelligence company is Ai Chatbot, which has exploded its popularity since its original launch in late 2022.

Jimmy Akhtar, a cyber security expert, executive director and founder of Cybersmart, said consumers should be more cautious by updating the passwords and validity of the system and warned that cybercriminals could seek the incident.

“If approved, this violation can have a lot of results, for both Openai and its customers,” he said.

“Millions of people and technology jobs have accepted the company in their daily lives, so the possible damage to Openai’s reputation for data security can be very high,” he said.

“Worse, the risk accounts can be used to access and abuse customer -sensitive data or abuse of Openai APIs and the distribution of malware and other cyberspace fences,” he said.

“There is also the possibility of cybercriminals using the credentials of the stolen user to produce targeted phishing campaigns, theft of identity or committing financial fraud,” he said.

“Although this violation has not yet been approved by Openai, anyone who uses this tool must update their passwords and credits as caution.

“And if you haven’t done so before, clarify the confirmation of multi -factor identity in Openai settings, as this must provide you with another layer of protection even if your password is compromised.”
