England 15-7 Australia: Henry Pollock lights up Twickenham
Oh my God, here he is, Flash Peroxide! Henry Pollock gathers and glances at the screen, was he almost celebrating before the try line?
He’s almost done with one hit, but he goes down and no one can stop him from getting up and over the line, TRY!
It all started with a big boom, the loose ball was always his and he collected it flawlessly.
It’s Pollock’s third try in 36 minutes of rugby for England, the buzz is very real.

Great moment for Luke Cowan-Dickie there soon after reaching his 50th cap, writes Harry Latham Coyle at Allianz Stadium Twickenham.
Hooker has always been excellent on the ball and adds to the threat of England’s jackals – who are already pulling them out of the upset and Australia are starting to win the encounters around.

Valtini collects the loose ball. It’s like a hot potato jumping around.
Mitchell ripped the ball forward. Now for the discussion… will this added bulk on the bench matter…
Pollock’s light hair showing from behind, England goes looking for control. However, Australia are solid and get the ball out well, it was easy enough.
Pisami and Curry’s heads collide there, a brief shot, but it was bad.

England 10-7 Australia: Borthwick sent to the ‘bomb squad’
A big chance for Australia to apply real pressure, but the ‘Bomb Squad’ is coming for England.
Kwan Dickie, Ganj, Stewart, Pollock and Carey all… what depth for England!
Lovely work from Paisami, Wilson now, Pollard has kept up the momentum.
No width…England penalty, they survive.

England 10-7 Australia
At Allianz Stadium, Twickenham, Nika Amashukli’s conversations are lost, the referee unable to hear his refereeing team – who were there against England, writes Harry Latham Coyle.
Assistant James Dolman had called for a penalty on Joseph-Akoso Sualy near halfway for obstruction, but Amashukli was obviously oblivious – instead, the home side had a penalty 10 meters from their own line.
Now we are reaching a stage where both coaches use their bench in the best way. England is preparing several changes…

England 10-7 Australia: Valtini warns the hosts
Mitchell, to Earl, then Mitchell rolls up to get more up. The Wallabies recover it, Waltini is away, Pollard, Edmed runs out, then Paisami weaves through the touchline and stays inside the chalk.
Suali catches the ball with one arm, stays low, enters a small gap. Australia threaten if Pollard had more pace, England would struggle to save the effort.
Penalty to England, but a warning sign.

England 10-7 Australia: Freeman and Hayes change forces
Could Cowan-Dickie be running soon?
England have deliberately chosen their ‘bomb squad’ from the bench…could this be decisive?
With lovely hands to collect after a booming game of chess moves.
A dirty battle in midfield to start this second half. Chessum in hard to deny Bell.
England also win a penalty, Australia cough up the ball at the breakdown, Hayes and Freeman pile on.

George Gorgan welcomes Harry Potter’s impact on England v Australia game
“Forty minutes from here, six carries, five tackles … he’s trying, getting under Earl, doing a lot of hard work off the ball,” said George Gorgan on TNT Sports.
“It’s tight, what a moment to keep five points. England attack the red zone, I’m not using a pun, his tongue is wagging, he was tired, but he got there in the end.”

England 10-7 Australia
After that, England dominated the first half, but they will be wondering how Australia managed to miss just three points behind. Harry Latham Coyle writes at the Allianz Stadium, Twickenham.
Harry Potter’s interception was indeed a 14-point swing, and we can’t forget that it was he who held Ben Earl when the score looked certain minutes earlier – two saves from the wing, ironically a favorite of Steve Borthwick during his time as manager and player at Leicester Tigers.
England edged closer as they looked to dominate a half full of kicks, and they have the Six Lions to bring off the bench – but the Wallabies are used to staying in games like this in 2025.

HT England 10-7 Australia
Oh! Caught with a miscue as time runs out… it’s a direct kick to Baxter, who drives to the tryline.
But Australia hold it and then scramble to get hold of the ball and strike.
Edmed can laugh now, but it was almost a disaster for the visitors.
