A cabinet minister warns that cyber attacks on major British retailers in recent weeks should be a “awakening” for companies across the country, as the government has unveiled measures aimed at increasing British organization support.
The Chancellor of Lancaster Pet McDeda tells technology experts and business chiefs that cyber security is “not a luxury but an absolute necessity” because he declares a £ 16million package to boost defense at home and abroad.

“Cyber -attacks are not a game,” said Mr McFadan in a speech at the Cyberuk Conference in Manchester.
“The digital version of an old old town, or direct theft or a protection rocket where you work will be safe until you pay the gangsters,” he said.
“What we have seen over the past two weeks should be a wake -up call for jobs and organizations at the top and bottom of England, as if we need one of them, that cyber security is not a luxury but an absolute necessity.”
The government is expected to unveil the system’s reinforcement of attacks, including driving investment in Cherry, the “magical chip” that protects advanced memory in microprocessors.
According to the cabinet office, it will cost about £ 4.5m to help firms help to participate in the technology that could block up to 70 % of common cyber attacks.
