The US Airlines, Delta and United are all quietly charging individual passengers more than group groups.
In some cases, individual passengers are reportedly paying up to 70 % more.
Thrifty Traveler and View travel sites discovered the wings that carriers, three largest in the United States, use this tactic pricing on the selected internal routes.
Kyle Potter Thrifty Traveler wrote: “While it is not broad – you don’t see it in any way – real and undeniable.”

Researchers imported flights with all three airlines, changed the number of passengers, then watched the fares immediately.
Independent Was able to repeat two of the price changes.
As the Thrifty trip made, we discovered that the cost of flying from Charlotte to Fort Myers could be reduced with $ 149, from $ 482 to $ 333, by booking two people instead of one.
And on Google flights, we saw a solo trip to the American flight from Chicago Ohahar one -way to Lexington in Kentucky, from $ 215 to $ 107, which doubled the number of passengers to two.
Discounts for bulk purchases in many consumer environments, from supermarkets to rail trips, are created, but many travelers are surprised to see this pricing strategy used by airlines, especially the radar. Discounts are not explicit when reserved.

Rhys Jones, the editor of the Air Transport at HeadForpoints.com, described the action as “unfair”.
He said Independent: “Unlike the hotel rooms, where you can share money, you can’t share a plane seat, so practicing individual passengers can be more unjust, especially as single people are often dealing with those who are accompanying.
“Unfortunately, the airlines always try to sell tickets at the maximum price they can spend on filling the planes, and while anyone traveling for business may not blink, another trip alone may not mean the same holiday.”
However, Gilbert Out, repeatedly Flora and the founder of the Godsavethepoints.com travel site, said that travelers should fundamentally smoke and tolerate it, especially in the age of artificial intelligence, which could see the emergence of more severe “personal pricing”.
He said Independent: “People have to wrap their head in the sense that the seats are commodities and just like other commodities, bulk discounts are often applied.
“We have seen countless airlines offering a number of mobile rentals, with discounts they buy for two.
“We will see more personal pricing as airlines.”
United refused to comment, while the US and Delta airline did not respond to the statement.
