Iran is summoning British diplomat to arrest seven nationals in England

According to state media reports on Monday, the Iranian Foreign Ministry has summoned British charges in Tehran.

British charges were summoned on Sunday, and he was asked to provide official explanations on the reasons and legal bases for the arrest of Iranian nationals in the British, and what is said is the “false allegations” made by the British against the Islamic Republic.

Earlier this month, British police arrested 7 Iranian nationals in two separate operations, and three men were accused of participating in a foreign intelligence service last week on charges of participating in behavior that may help a foreign intelligence service.

Mustafa Sepavand, 39, Farhad Javadi Mansh, 44, and Shapur Ghullah Khani Nouri, 55, appeared in West Minister’s court on Saturday and was charged with crimes under the National Security Act.

All are accused of participating in behavior, which is likely to help Iran’s foreign intelligence services between August 14, 2024 and February 16, 2025.

The three men were in custody and appeared at a June 6 preliminary session.

The other four men have been released from detention but are still in investigation.

“The responsibility of the inappropriate impact of such actions, which seems to be motivated by political motives to put pressure on Iran, will be on the British government,” the state media quoted a State Department official as saying.

The British government has placed Iran at the highest level of registration of its foreign influence and needs Tehran to record all the work it does to implement political influence in the UK.
