IIt is interesting how valuable holidays are often born of the most unexpected moments.
I remember, as a young child, laughing at hysterical as my family found any space for stretching the bodies in a small Vauxhall Nova for an overnight sleep in a dormitory outside Paris after not finding a single hotel room.
I will never forget the soothing look at my mother’s face. When my father and I finally returned, fortunately returned, a longer trip to the Nevada Desert, or the simple pleasure of kicking empty ice cream cartons for targets on Lisbon Street.
My childhood holiday was simply and independently (as far as a book from the Rough Guide series allows my parents anyway).
Any pre -programmed week of events or activities under the flag of closed holiday was created by my father. The best way to find the missing self, besieged by people who speak a foreign language, was his mantra from being a holiday representative.

At Fougers, about an hour driving, the largest medieval castle in Europe was a good day, where the kids were watching as a trebuchet. My partner and I later enjoyed crepes on the streets of the old town.
And for those who wish to leave the car, the bike is available for rent in the park, and the beautiful villages of Bonnemain and Saint Leonard are a close -up cycle. Unlike a closed holiday destination, like cycling in a tourist strip is not endless. Outside the park, you feel you are in France.
From windows full of flowers to fairy and open desk bistros buildings, this is a pure wind paradise.
This week ended with my family matches through events that had not yet reached them. Horse riding, golf and paintball are just some of the activities you should try next time.
The Eurocamp was a holiday that I never considered before – now with my own children, it has rapidly increased at the top of the list for the coming year.
