MAGAworld tries to defend Nebraska senator's husband after he refuses to shake hands with Harris: 'He had a cane!'

MAGAworld members rejected the husband of a Nebraska senator because Kamala Harris brazenly refused to shake hands with the vice president.

Deb Fisher’s Republican husband, Bruce Fisher, was by Harris’ side as she was sworn in Jan. 3.

But when the vice president congratulated both and extended his hand, Fisher’s husband, holding a Bible in his left hand and a cane in his right, glanced briefly at Harris and muttered, “Thank you.” The Senator took the Bible from him and freed his left hand but instead put it in his pocket and looked down. Harris raised her eyebrows and flashed an uneasy smile as the group posed for an awkward photo.

The video of this disgust has been published in cyber space due to people’s attention to Harris’s disgust and reaction to being suspended.

Now some on the far right have come to Bruce Fisher’s defense and have made many excuses.

“Which hand do you want it to shake with?” One person posted on X said: “Dr [sic] The one holding the book or the one holding the staff?

Some claimed that Harris was wrong to reach out in the first place.

Another said Harris was “stupid” for trying to shake his hand. “Bruce Fisher, 73, holds a Bible in one hand and a cane in the other,” they stated. Harris foolishly asks her to shake his hand anyway.

Another said: ‘Bruce Fisher, husband of Deb Fisher, just to set the record straight, was holding a Bible in his left hand and using a cane to support himself in his right hand. That’s why he couldn’t shake Kamala’s hand.”

Others praised the senator’s husband for deflecting Harris’ handshake.

The group Republicans Against Trump shared the video clip and called Fisher’s wife “classless.”

Others agreed with the sentiment, with one adding that she has “zero class.”

Fisher shared photos from the swearing-in ceremony on her official X account while sharing a message of standing together.

“Together we will continue to defend our shared values and take care of our people,” he wrote. We will protect this nation. We will build a stronger Nebraska. And we will ensure this brighter future for our children and grandchildren.”
