A prominent retired surgeon has claimed that a large number of women do medical evidence, which causes problems for the NHS because “women should have infants” and many work part -time.
Dr. Mirion Thomas, a former professor of surgical oncology at Imperial College, said gender balance has been greatly beneficial to female medical students.
Asked what is more about having more female physicians in education, Dr. Thomas told Times Radio, “The reality of life is that women should have babies.”
“You are now in your place, and I will hate it, but the reality of life is that women must have infants,” she said. “Of course, they must have their time to raise their children.”
“Women often work part -time or job sharing, which she claimed to affect NHS services,” said Dr. Thomas.
“… The reality of life, in public practice, almost most women work part -time, and this is one of the reasons that patients cannot access the same general practitioner,” she said.
His remarks were displayed as part of the NHS strike, which is due to take place five days from 7am on Friday, where thousands of physicians residing are expected to join alcohol in a continuous dispute.
“Please don’t insult about this,” said Dr. Thomas, before going to a photo of the previous doctors’ strike, which he said that only two of the 30 to 40 people were portrayed were only two men. “The rest were women. So something tells me,” she said.
“One problem is that medical schools are now taking 60 to 70 percent of women as medical students,” said Dr. Thomas, who is a problem. Dr. Thomas had previously complained about GPS work, which the Royal College of General Practitioners said “loses a point”.
He had also warned that the NHS was flooded with doctors in the poorer countries, claiming that Britain has no “ideas if competent”.
The general public is urged to continue taking care of the NHS during a five -day strike, which is likely to cancel tens of thousands of actions and appointments.
NHS British said hospitals and local teams have been prepared before the strike and have plans to “minimize patient care and ensure life care”.
Thousands of physicians residing in March 2023 are expected to join physicians residing in the twelfth period by physicians.
Sir Jim Mackie, the new NHS chief of England, has called on hospital leaders to perform daily operations and appointments if possible and cancel if there is a risk for patient safety.
During the strike, general practitioner surgeries will be opened as usual and A&E will be available to those who need them.
This urged the general public to use 111 online as the first to call for urgent but threatening life.
“There is no doubt that this industrial action will be taken to NHS patients and staff, and it is disappointing,” said Professor Megana Pandit.
“While this means that some appointments cannot go as planned, we do our best to limit this, and patients should use NHS services in the usual way,” he said.
“People have to dial 999 in emergencies, otherwise they use 111 online, local pharmacists or general practitioners, and patients should participate in the NHS appointments, unless otherwise said.”
