Six world’s beautiful airports for 2025 have been leaked – and two are in the US

They are rising airports with designs of imagination, six poles that are the most impressive on earth according to a prestigious architectural award.

And two are in the United States.

The main terminal of Portland International Airport and San Francisco International Airport Terminal are both the most beautiful list of the UNESCO Versales World Airports.

The referees describe the new Portland’s new terminal designed by ZGF Oregon.

They explain that the terminal is “inspired by hiking in the woods and as a result is a relaxing and comprehensive experience for travelers”.

They continue: “The star of this project is the insulated wooden roof that expands more than 387,500 feet, which celebrates the history of forest product innovation in Oregon.”

It has been explained that the materials used from the local industry were prepared in a radius of 310 miles of airport, with a “forest to frame” system created to further track wood to its origin forest.

“The spectacular scale structure enhances access to natural light and a landscape of forest landscape. Renovation of a stage that is both stable and practical.”

Meanwhile, the new Terminal of San Francisco Airport has been described as “relaxing and repairers for travelers”, “filtering soft natural light through the arrival level” and “architecture that reflects the unique personality of the Gulf region”.

“In fact, the airport, with the SFO Museum, the world’s only prestigious museum at an airport, becomes a real cultural destination and allows stronger exhibitions and arts throughout the terminals,” said Prix Versales.

The list is also the terminal of Kansai International Airport in Osaka, Japan. Designed 30 years ago by Renzo Piano on an artificial island in the middle of the Gulf of Osaka, its interiors are now “revived” and a smart queue management system.

“The successful reopening of the terminal is proud of the history of an extraordinary site for the 2025 World Exhibition,” the referees add.

Marseille 1 Airport Terminal, designed by Foster + Partners, also reduces this cut thanks to a program that includes a window lounge with a network of lights that “transmit peace and tranquility”.

“The glass facade provides maximum transparency, with a view of the interior of the Provençal on the one hand and a maritime wetland on the other, in a wonderful combination of hospitality and lightweight,” Prix Versales adds.

The two other airports on the list include Terminal 2 of Yantai Ponglai 2 International Airport in China, where “natural light infiltrates the entire terminal”, and the Rolalan Garus Airport Terminal on Reunion Island.

The “tropical bioclotics” airport has a central “valley” that acts as a thermal chimney, leviers attached to sensors that adjust their angles to respond to climate change, and an interior space that is “sensory travel” for travelers thanks to “widespread use of wood and vegetation.”

The Secretary -General of the Versailles Prix, Jérôme Gouadain, emphasizes the traces of these new projects: “The remaining brand by airports mainly stems from their increasing role in international currency exchanges. As a result, the infrastructure should solve serious problems with stream management and aircraft itself.

“But this new brand of facilities can also be seen as artworks or at least as beautiful things. In fact, we must strive to do so given their lack of compulsory environments and landscapes.

“These centers also convey to operational, environmental and aesthetic excellence, shared values, culture, or even paying respect for the past, from respect for the remaining legacy of previous generations.
