The Portuguese player gives Diogo Jota a tribute to Diogo Jota during the Wimbledon Double match


Portuguese two -player Francisco Cabal, wearing a black ribbon in court in Wimbledon, paid tribute to Diego Juta.

Kabbal, the number 40 of the world in the men’s doubles, was seen on Friday with a ribbon on his sleeve, after the entire British club calmed down his full white clothing code to allow Liverpool to go to Liverpool.

Jota, 28, and her brother Andre Silva died on a car accident in Spain on Thursday to reach England before the pre -season.

Kabbal said he was driving to Wimbledon when he heard the news and described the footballer as “idol, such a symbol, such a good person” in Portugal.

“I only wish for the best for his family,” he added. “He’s so inspiring to me.”

Liverpool’s fans and English double player, Neil Schpski, also brought a black armband on Thursday, but decided not to wear it.

The 25 -year -old found out about his grandmother’s death shortly after leaving her first round with British colleague Joe Salisburia.

Skopski said he could wear the tournament later and said, “Maybe in the next two days.”
