World boxing apologies for the naming of faith Khalif in the change of gender testing law

The World Boxing has apologized last week while announcing the introduction of mandatory sexual tests.

When the governing body released its new policy, it was named Khelif, which won the Olympic gold in the Paris 2024 games. “Algeria will not be allowed to compete in their female categories without having a sexual test first,” said World Boxing.

However, the ruling delegation has now told the BBC that its president, Boris Van in Woorst, has sent a written apology from the Algerian boxing federation. “The privacy of this athlete had to be protected”, in every BBC.

Khalif, 26, won the women’s weightlifting at the Olympics last summer, while Lin Yu Ting Taiwan won the weightlifting championship. The success of each boxer was overshadowed by the Olympics due to disqualification of the World Championships in 2023.

The International Boxing Association (IBA), which supervised the competition, claimed that both fighters have defeated gender eligibility tests and led to their disqualification. IBA has previously overseen Olympic boxing, but was eliminated before the 2020 games due to concerns about the organization’s finances and links to Russia and for fear of corruption.

The International Olympic Committee (IOC) said boxers can compete in women in Paris if their passports said they were women. The caliph was born and raised as a woman and has never been known as Transgender or Intersxex.

She was due to take action in the Netherlands between June 5 and 10, but on Friday, world boxing announced the introduction of compulsory sexual testing “to ensure the safety of all participants and present a competitive level for men and women.”

“According to plans to introduce this policy and specific conditions around some of the boxers competing at the Paris 2024 Olympics, the World Boxing Federation has been written to inform the Elindhoven Box Box, or any Sexing World Khels,”.

“This decision shows concerns about the safety and well -being of all boxers, including Iman Khalif, and its aim is to protect the mental and physical health of all participants in light of some reactions to the possible boxer participation in the Indovon box,” he said.
