The Wurzels Humorous Band has released a new single song written by artificial intelligence (AI), Wurzel Me Up.
The band, best known for songs like The Combine Harvester (Key Brand New Key), and I am a cedar drink, said they decided to use the technology to help them because they didn’t write songs for a while.
“We found out that we had written a new song for a long time. We needed some” advanced “technologies,” he said.
“We decided to discover this new artificial world to see if it could help us analyze Wurzel’s catalogs and inspire a song for the new version,” he said.
He added that he found out that there were real concerns with artificial intelligence about literary theft and copyright.
He added: “Stars like them Young’uns (Mr) Elton (John) and Makka (Sir Paul McCartney) have the right to worry, we do not agree to theft at all, and so, in this case, we have tried to steal ourselves.”
The band, formed in 1966, was known for playing in West Country stereotypes and had eight singles in the UK and the top three albums in England.
